Raku skulptur 2 koppar breakfast bowlThis Raku sculpture by Eva Paradis has a softly organic shape that brings to mind a seed, pumpkin or plant in motion. Each sculpture is hand built and unique created in the Japanese raku tradition where fire, air, water and clay interact in a dramatic process. During firing, the sculpture is heated to approximately 900C, removed from the kiln red hot, and cooled rapidly. The rapid temperature change creates the characteristic crackles in the glaze,
