Description
The colour is scarcely evolved and the nose is surprisingly lush
and should ultimately become elegant as well as powerful
This is an ambitious Croft that could become a future legend or might trip over its untrammeled ambition
Claude’s daughter
with its ripe plummy
Jean-Marc Pavelot, Corton Charlemagne Blanc Size:6x750ml The colour is scarcely evolvedModerate wood influence is present on the very fresh aromas of Granny Smith apples, citrus confit, white flower and an interesting hint of marmalade. There is even better volume as well as more evident minerality on the lingering and more complex finale where a touch of sweetness emerges that, for me at least, detracts from the overall appeal. To be sure, this is perfectly good, but it would be fair to observe that its not a classic rendition.
