The qualifying period for all the operations relating to Africa is 30 days continuous service or 60 days accumulated service within a two year period

between 2nd April and 14th June 1982

this is struck and then enamelled in vitreous enamels in the manner of the original badge

To date just over 1000 awards have been made together with 18 bars

Military General Service Medal 1793-1814 First Clasp:Vimiea This is the version awardedAuthorised for award to survivors in 1848, this medal has 29 different clasps awarded with it and, unlike its Naval counterpart, is quite common with multiple clasps. It could not be awarded without a clasp. This exmaple is die struck in the manner of the original and is superb in every detail. The clasps were constructed on carriages holding one, two or three clasps and ours is produced the same way to order. Please allow two weeks for assembly of
