Woodenhead Carignane Guido Venturi Vineyard, 2018 Xarel.lo rhubarb and cloveRed cherry, violets, honeysuckle, black cherry, saddle on nose. The nose seamlessly transitions to the palate with a burst of cherry core, finishing with firm spice + plum. The Guido Venturi vineyard has been in the Venturi family since 1924, Guido being of the original Mendocino County grape growers. Prior to the 20th century, Carignan was the most plated grape in France. Thought to be originally from Spain, the grape has different names around the
