Description
This is a big Fuées as it’s rare for it to be even more structured than the Baudes
5% the highest in alcohol of this years Breuer cru-bottlings (whereas it was the lightest of them in 2009)
A pungent nose of earth and wood leads to supple
all wrapped in a lingering and mildly austere finish
There is a more evident minerality to the big-bodied
Michele et Patrice Rion, Chambolle Musigny Vv other_regions This is a big Fuées(from Les Danguerrins, Aux Croix, Les Pas de Chat and Les Condemennes). A discreet application of wood surrounds airy, cool and pretty plum liqueur that is laced with violet and tea nuances. The intrinsic refinement of Chambolle is on display with the generously proportioned middle weight flavors that retain good precision on the palate coating and sneaky long finish where a hint of bitter cherry pit slowly emerges.
