Description
offering alluringly sweet blueberry and cherry preserve flavors along with hints of licorice and candied flowers
A vague whiff of exotic fruit is present on the mostly white orchard fruit aromas that are trimmed in perceptible if still reasonably subtle wood influence
richer and denser than those of the Champeaux but ultimately less complex and not quite as deep on the backend
indeed it could even be drunk with pleasure now

Jean-Paul Droin, Chablis Vaulorent Vintage:2021 offering alluringly sweet blueberry and(from a . 33 ha parcel). A much cooler though still ripe nose reflects pure, airy and elegant notes of oyster shell, quinine, pear and tidal pool. The rich, generous and refined medium bodied flavors are shaped by lemon tinged acidity on the agreeably dry youthfully austere finale. This quality effort should amply reward mid term cellaring.
