It is rather small for a viola and is very playable. The neck is short by modern standards, giving it a string length of 38 cm. Because of the short neck, higher positions can feel a bit different. Tenor violas are especially ideal for earlier repertoire, as such instruments were commonly used in the 17th Century. This instrument is sold with a hard case and is also available
