This is excellent though a wine that will need at least a few years of patience

A subdued nose only grudgingly reveals the cool and airy red and dark currant

which means around age 10-12 give or take

a warm year in Piedmont

and a little more savoury

Berliquet other_regions This is excellent though aThe 2016 Berliquet has quite a high toned bouquet that gradually gains more composure with aeration, the cedar and mint infused red fruit developing subtle tertiary aromas with aeration. The palate is medium bodied with firm but fine boned tannins. This leans toward the drier and more classically styled Saint milion, and it pulls it off well. Very promising.
