The Africa Star was awarded to British and Commonwealth forces who served in the North African campaign between 10 June 1940 and 12 May 1943

Awarded for seven days continuous service between 16th January 1991 and 28th February 1991 in the theatre of operations outlined below:-

EFFICIENCY DECORATION Post 1982 WITH HAC RIBBON Campaign_India General Service 1849-1939 and heritageTerritorial Decoration awarded with the green ribbon with central yellow stripe until 1982 when it was combined into a single Decoration emcompassing the AER and T&AVR, the ribbon was then standardised to half blue half green with a central yellow stripe. This is the version awarded with the HAC ribbon to members of the HAC who qualify for the award.
