A wonderfully high-toned

It has aged better than Les Asteries and I would be inclined to drink this over the next 5-7 years

I suspect that this will flesh out with a few years of bottle age and it will probably need it to become approachable as the citrus character is borderline bitter

Rich and truffley on the palate

The ultra-sleek and almost painfully intense mineral-driven flavors display a taut muscularity before terminating in a youthfully austere bitter cherry pit suffused finish

Like the Beaux Monts, this is sufficiently reduced to largely mask what appears to be ripe fruit that derives more from the dark side of the spectrum. More interesting are the super sleek, even silky, middle weight flavors that possess a lovely sense of underlying tension on the dusty, highly complex and even firmer finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth. Very promising.
