Large Baroque Viola after Gasparo da Salo (1580) by Lu-Mi Style:Antique Stain Alto (F) System Baroque systemThis Lu Mi Baroque viola is modeled after a 1580 original by Gasparo da Salo (1542 1609), one of the earliest violin makers. Da Salo's violas are still considered among the best ever made, and modern copies are often sought after by professional players. This is a slightly larger version of Lu Mi's small da Salo viola.
