The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers (RSD 2026) Singles Jeff Goddard joined the bandBoston based band (19701974) formed by Jonathan Richman, recorded two studio albums (actually demos) which remained unreleased until 1976 and 1981. After graduating from high school in 1969, Jonathan Richman relocated to New York City. Totally infatuated with the sound of the Velvet Underground, Richman made his entre to New York
