The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded in 1798. Located in the town of Kirkwall in the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland that uses its own malt floors. The bottlings have nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings. Highland Park 18 years matured the entire time in
