The delicate natural residual sweetness is a nice counterpoint to the violently high acidity that is typical for Riesling. Mineral rich subsoil from the volcanic rock on the southernmost tip of the Kaiserstuhl, the Ihringer Winklerberg. A light, mineral and firm Riesling, very atypical for the sunny and warm Kaiserstuhl! It is definitely a riesling with maturation potential. Goes well with Asian
