2023, Pain Perdu Biodynamisk Vinified with its natural nativePain Perdu 2023 from Claire & Florent Bejon is a free run Cabernet Franc from a small parcel in Beaumont en Vron. The vines are around 40 years old and grown on slopes with limestone and sandy soil. The grapes are spontaneously fermented with whole bunches for three weeks, and the wine is matured in tanks, old barrels, and amphorae, giving an expression of red berries, earth and spice.
