At the start of the game, each player receives five pieces of the same color, numbered 1 to 5. On their turn, they roll the dice and are then allowed to move pieces that correspond to the sum of the dice; for example, a roll of 5 allows the player to move either piece number 5 or pieces 2 and 3.
